Wow, ugh. I've worked for two non profit professional orgs for many years combined and (thankfully) was never told that; however, I definitely felt like an "MLA outsider" but don't blame MLA or anyone else, as academic and (to a lesser extent) hospital libs are the main constituency.

Two (dumb?) questions: Are the "total of 123 overlapping SRs with MA" not included as references? In the PDF I don't see the articles they identified (the full refs, not just descriptions)? If any of them were published in the same year, shouldn't that SR not have been conducted if one already was?
