Once I considered to develop synaesthesia in myself to have a great memory. But I quickly decided that even if it’s possible, price is too high. Shereshevsky, who remembered everything, was in dream-like state all his life and had strange difficulties.

I think Finland and other north Europian countries are just good to live in, so as this article says (heathcare, social security, etc).

Generative adversarial network was invented in 2014. This architecture can create realistic images of certain type, but without text prompt.

Recurrent Neural Networks with short-term memory were invented in 1995. RNN was used for natural language processing, but also could be used to make some simple decisions as for character in a videogame. Modern LLM is descendant of RNN.

Linguistic relativity hypothesis suggests that language determine thinking. So if we need machine that act like human, we need machine that talk like human. And before modern LLM there were architectures for this.
