10 million people is almost as many as were living in the Mediterranean world at the time of Julius Caesar.

I don’t see a risk from a group of protesters in tents.

But the intent of 10/7 terrorism was to create irrational and excessive fear.

The college should try to address the fears of all students.

Not easy or simple. But they are making sound decisions and acting carefully.

Also an alumni. I think the Administration’s response in this specific instance was respectful and reasonable.

The combination of non-students, masking to prevent identification, and tents render this less about free speech.

My son and his wife had us watch this show when we were visiting. After about 5 minutes, I said, “Wait a second, is he related to…”

After a quick google search I confirmed it. My son was impressed I knew Sam Reich’s dad.

I just read this and was hoping you could schedule an interview with Prof Reich for a special podcast episode!

Annoy me. Biblical retelling of Noah’s son Shem, living thru the 500 years after the Flood, wondering how he can stop this mysterious and absent-for-centuries God from killing off everyone again (comps beyond Red Tent and the sisterhood/empowerment retellings…).

My book group is reading Frankenstein (1818 version) and I’m blown away.

Imagining how an artificial creature might begin to perceive the world.

The next 1/3 is owned by the American people, through Trust Funds for Social Security and Medicare etc. and thru the Federal Reserve.

Only 1/6th is owned by foreigners

In one Sherlock Holmes story there is a clue from the dog that did not bark.

The un-barking dog with the US debt is: who is owed all that money? Why is that never asked?

More than half of it is rich Americans and corporations. Those who have gotten tax breaks for 45 years.

Are fantasy novels set in the mythos of existing religious narratives too sensitive for publishers? Seems a largely untapped yet fertile ground.

Might you ever publish even an ebook short summary of what was going to happen?

On this shelf (and others) I believe I own just about every novel you’ve ever written…

By the way, and chance of an Alpha and Omega sequel?
