My name is my watermelon. Tech tweets on hold while we fight for 🇵🇸. Don’t forget Syria and Sudan.
We released the first public beta of fish-shell 4.0 last week, our first release of the #rust rewrite. Besides the complete rewrite there are also awesome new features – try it and let us know how it goes! #opensource #linux

In case you missed this from a few days ago, apparently it’s now official that the UK didn’t ban the export license for F-35 jet parts used by !areal to bomb Gaza in order to protect “its special friendship” with the USA… www.declassifieduk.org/labour-avoid...
Labour avoided full arms embargo on Israel to protect special relationship
Banning F-35 supplies to Israel “would undermine US confidence in the UK”, defence secretary John Healey privately warned colleagues.

Proud of Democratic Senator Dick Durbin for voting in favor of all three Joint Resolutions of Disapproval in front of the Senate earlier tonight. And thank you to Sens Merkley, and Van Hollen for co-sponsoring Sen Bernie Sanders’s resolutions!

If you show this picture to anyone without telling them where it was taken or who did it, they would be shocked, appalled, and demand action. Alas…

Oh, did the AI spam come along for the migration from Twitter!? I was hoping we left it behind :(

Bernie Sanders’s resolution to halt arms to Israel will be up for the vote this Wednesday. Don’t get your hopes up, it’s an AIPAC-endorsed Senate on both sides of the aisle.

This is absolutely outrageous genocide denial fuel. It would only be acceptable if NYT was reporting in minute detail every aspect of the genocide, but posting this with their history is absolutely shameful and unacceptable.

It would be nice if Bluesky were to one-up Twitter by preserving lossless PNG screenshot attachments instead of converting them to JPEG.

Does the “show less like this” Bluesky option actually, you know, do anything?

I have a number of open source rust crates that have been ready for a release for going on a year now. I really should just do it. ™

I guess I should introduce myself to #Bluesky. I’m a tech nerd that used to post about open source, rust, .NET, and high-octane programming (and sometimes about cars). Now I post about #Palestine because it’s the least I can do until this genocide ends.

Look at this list of medical professionals needed to help treat evacuees from #Gaza. It’s all peds – baby docs. Wtf are we doing here? Wake up world. WAKE UP!

(Message me if you are a pediatric practitioner in one of these fields.)

I had a moment of perfect clarity last night looking at this pic. No other country has built such a military industry solely to attack and repress an unarmed, native populace. The insanity of it all left me stunned – if it appeared overnight no one would accept it. Free Palestine!
