Yeah.... We're done, Joey. There are not enough global leaders out there with the political will to change the direction we're going in. And now that Trump is in, many corporations are reversing their climate promises.

Can't you block them?

I had one of these pass me on the freeway last year. (The Oscar Meyer truck) It goes like snot! I have yet, however, been passed by a cyber truck.

I'm in the US now. Other than fuel, liquor, tobacco products and dairy, the grocery prices here are almost identical to BC's with some stuff including some vegetables being higher. And then add over 30 percent exchange rate. It's not at all affordable to be in the States anymore.

Good report. Thanks, Joey, and Merry Christmas!

Particularly Tesla.

Thanks for the forecast, Joey.
Get some weight over those tires, eh.

It was ridiculous for most of the way from the border to just north of Portland today, although I did break out into sun on occasion, it was pea soup in many places along I-5.

That's what I pull. My two Awards are quite low so I don't catch much but the Wildcat was ridiculously high for a TT. After fighting it in high winds for three days coming north, I sold it this spring.

I'm sorry to hear that. I get out of my truck a LOT to look. I also do not accept suggestions, directions or back up from 'helpful' people. I stay more alert to what I'm doing that way.

Awesome! Thanks!

Ditto.
December 2, 2024 at 5:52 AM
One of my favorite places.
December 2, 2024 at 5:36 AM
That's where I'll be in two days. Just leaving BC tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.
December 2, 2024 at 5:33 AM
Damn! Good price!
December 1, 2024 at 3:49 AM
Ditto that!

I was just really curious about what you were starting there since growing was always one of my favorite things to do.

My apologies for the delay in answering your post, Rasta. I've been packing up my RV to head out for the winter.
I don't normally have a lot to say in a new crowd. I kind of like to hang around and get to know people.

I'm glad you posted here, Joey. You come from a unique background for addressing this and your input could be valuable to hikers in the future.

Wait, what? What are you doing with them?
Obviously I need to read more of your posts because I've missed something. I haven't been here for a few days.

Yikes! 😅
