RIP to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva. Tragic news, and the deepest of condolences to their family and loved ones.

Spurs could have played another 90 minutes and still not have scored a goal of their own.

United looked like they had a goal in them but ultimately the lack of quality and poor game management from Amorim was enough for Shaw's own goal to win it for Spurs. Fair play Ange.

Ref was poor.

That's just simply not good enough from Onana, for the umpteenth time in a row. He simply has to leave the club this summer.

United need more from their wingers. I hope they invest heavily in this regard this summer window.

Worth revisiting this post from 3 months ago, about how Alisson was the best shot stopper in the league and probably one of the best in the world.
Goals Prevented by Premier League Goalkeepers this season so far (xG on Target Faced - Goals Conceded p90).

Pretty clear that Liverpool have the best club goalkeeping department in the league, if not the world at the moment.

Garnacho continues to be so hard to evaluate. Always the player who gets into dangerous opportunities, but always manages to fluff his lines.

Counterintuitively I feel like that was Zirkzee's best performance. United were good in moments, but horrible for long stretches of time, and out of possession. Set piece defending improved, but still unbelievably toothless. Bleak.

Who are the high volume, high quality shot takers in the Premier League so far this season ?

United playing a LOT better now, for what it's worth. They can definitely get a goal back.

This United side is slowly eroding my enthusiasm for watching United games, and this has absolutely never happened before.

Being a United fan is truly masochistic.

From @markrstats on X. Absolutely unbelievable.

Martinez absolutely clueless in his tracking back. Goes from tight with his man to defending empty air within 3 seconds. Absolutely not good enough in defence from him this season, he has cost us multiple goals.

That was the goofiest game of football I've watched in a LONG time.

I don't think United played poorly today. An OK performance complimented by 0/10s from Onana and Martinez. Strange substitution decisions by Amorim too today.

Harsh, but football is like that sometimes.

How are arsenal so good at corners ? It's not any of the 50 subtle fouls they manage to get away with every time is it ? 🧐

Mightily impressed by this first half from United. Good combination play, especially on the wings and good transitions from the initial buildup to involving Hojlund in a swift movement. We need to stay consistent, move it quicker and get some more shots off!

Leicester vs West Ham ... what on earth happened here ?!

United doing their best Brentford impression with consecutive these first minute goals...

Pretty dull match from a United perspective, and one that they probably should have lost against Ipswich. Onana was outstanding, and Amad did well but the rest looked blunt.

Weak at the back and toothless going forward. But it's only the beginning, and we must remember that it's a pretty big shift.
