One of the things I’ve been involved in outside of the classroom is serving on the Governing Board of the Mid-Atlantic REL, or Regional Education Laboratory, for the past six years.

I spent the holiday weekend in Portsmouth, NH recording my book as an audiobook at the Heinemann office. I’ve always dreamed of recording an audiobook, and recording my own, a book about critical thinking and civil discourse, felt timely and empowering.
