3/3 While protest is primarily a cultural left‐libertarian affair in Italy, young left‐wing people (both in cultural and socio‐economic terms) are more likely to protest in Spain— political values and issue position do not emerge as relevant predictors of young Greeks’ protest behaviour

1/3 based on www.unige.ch/sciences-soc... 2018/19 survey data with youth booster samples, I find that Spanish young women are much more likely to protest than young men. The gap is less robust & much smaller for Italians, and doesn't hold for Greeks
