My mom gave me tulip bulbs 30 years ago. Eventually they were just leaves so I dug them up. 20 years later and some relandscaping (no tulips) up sprouts 3 tulips in a paver planter next the driveway by my front door. But even more amazing was this at our cottage at the lake with concrete all around.
