The Trump administration is to weak and hideous to send someone higher up or go there themselves. So they just send an emissary. Its quite Russian style to do that, to signal to Zelensky he is below them. That is a Russian strategy, now adopted and used by the USA. That far are we now.

Witkoff and Trump are founders of Word Liberty Financial. Its all about money. Trumps economy is reeling, Putins economy as well. So both of them need the lifeline of US-Russia normalization and business exchange.

If Russia and the USA are successful in forcing Ukraine and Europe into submission, this is the least of our worries. Neither Russia nor the USA care about this. And we then need to fully focus on defending our democracies.

The Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil infrastructure are creating issues for Russia to fuel their invasion. Also financial issues are further mounting. And Trump is eager to help his friend Putin.

Enough of these nice words, EU needs to start acting. Stop appeasing Trump, Canada and China are a good example how to deal with him. Europe needs to start to stand up for itself, and if Slovakia and Hungary want to join the russian federation - let them. Enough obstruction and inactivity.

It is no accident that this now comes along: Russia is unable to sustain its invasion. Russia deliberately chose Witkoff to send Dmitriev because of Trumps affinity to money. Go back to Alaksa where Trump voiced the goal to do business with Russia. Putin sent this hook, and they swallowed.

That is the usual excuse to not show him borders and accountability. Oh, it's just Trump being Trump. Let's carry on. I this case it's about people in Europe and Ukraine and Russian aggression against democracy and sovereignty.

If I read "concerned" then I stop reading. Trump and Putin do not care about our concerns. The only real answer to them is action, not voicing concerns.

Das ist doch das Ziel beider. Trump anerkennt weder nationale Gesetze oder die Verfassung der USA. Noch internationale Regeln. Wie Putin. Deswegen hat Putin mit Trump leichtes Spiel. Putin hilft Trump um Putin zu ermächtigen die Ziele Russlands in Europa zu erreichen. Trump ist Erfüllungsgehilfe.

All signs where there on the wall, Trump is easy to read if you listen to what he says, even if it makes no sense or is unbelievable. It's a creation of his mind, and we know how Epstein thought about that.

These threats and extortion show that Trump has nothing, the Trump USA is weak in the face of russian aggression. Putin managed to get all what he seeded in Alaska, where Trump already had wet dreams about doing business with Russia.

"It will get worse" is a threat of the USA. We are now at the stage where Trump pushes to normalize his relations with Russia to his benefit. All tries of appeasement of Trump where wasted time. How much more do European leaders need to finally get up and act instead of talk.

Because it's goal is the normalization between Russia and USA with creating business. Until all US tech is back in Russia and turned against Europe. Trump USA is and never was an ally of Europe. We finally need to act accordingly.

What really brought the ball rolling was the forming of the coalition of the willing and the massive planned defense spending in Europe. That is why the Russian plan calls for Europe to contribute to the rebuild of the damages they caused. To bind funds into that instead of mil. Defense.

It is the same sellout as with Afghanistan and the Taliban. Same Trump approach: "Negotiate" a deal with the aggressor and extort the elected government into it, handing over the country. Was awaiting it from the day he took office. All these European delusions on handling him are wasted time.
