I think my last re-read was bc I'd just finished *The Chosen and the Beautiful* and wanted to refresh myself on the original

(that book is stunning, btw, and does way more thinking about race and class than Gatsby itself)

I read it in high school and college and a couple more times just bc I dig the language

but my deal with audiobooks is that I mostly only listen to books I've already read — my audio comprehension hits different and I also don't have to sweat missing details if I get distracted
