Christian and Copeland aren't terrible company, in my opinion. But I'd also assume Hangman will be chasing Swerve for the belt in the coming months, so we will see.

I was pretty happy to see AEW recognize his value when he left WWE.
People are iffy on a lot of AEWs recent front office moves, but that one and a few more coming soon will be positive changes.

You might be surprised how willing WWE is to work with 'the sheets'. Much more open than AEW in my experience.

My SO had no prior interest in wrestling. She gravitated to Danhausen big time.

Appreciate the discussion. I apologize if I came across as a know it all. Ive been in the wrestling media for some prominent places. I know more about how shady it is than you'd believe. At the end of the day, I just want to be entertained.

I agree completely. The thing is, most people dont pay for wrestling news - vast majority gets it from aggregators and weirdos.
There is a LOT of money in that business. Ive seen the financials for some of these sites. Money you wouldnt believe.
Those folks are the true carnys.

But there arent any serious promoters who are making efforts to "work the sheets."
Most of the 'carny' in wrestling these days is from older wrestlers as opposed to the office. There is more carny behavior from podcasters and website owners than promoters BY FAR.
