I finished this rug for myself. It’s made from T-shirt yarn that I made from outgrown T-shirts. There’s at least 15 shirts in this rug.

I will always be grateful to my kids’ art teacher for showing me how to make T-shirt yarn. We did this as part of a community service day years ago at our local elementary school, and now when I cut up shirts to make a T-shirt quilt, I make the rest of the shirt into T-shirt yarn. /1

I mean…can’t understand why they wouldn’t want this on the front of your book. ;)

We got two inches—got to see a lot of it fall this morning

My grandmother made this for me for my graduation. We use it as an extra layer when it gets colder here. I had to replace the binding on it, but other than that it’s held up for decades.

My good friend’s mother had a nerve disease that is called Suicide Disease because the pain is so bad and unrelenting.
Google search says it’s facial nerve pain though.
