Just here to see if the sky is actually bluer over here.
For a Christian, the debate is over how to best help our neighbors. It becomes distinctly anti-Christian if the debate shifts to whether we should help our neighbors.

History has shown that typically, when corrupt leaders—whether business leaders, pastors, coaches, or even the popular guy who gets a bit drunk—start facing the consequences of their decisions, they pick a fight.

But when politicians pick fights, nations do the fighting.

“I would throw out the old maxim, ‘My country, right or wrong,’ etc., and instead I would say, ‘My country when she is right.’ Because patriotism is supporting your country all the time, but your government only when it deserves it.”

I have been in some sort of leadership for a long time, one thing has always been true:

You will find forgiveness for being wrong, but never an apology for being treated wrong when you were right.

Having owned a Tesla since 2018, it’s been weird being protested by the truck nuts brigade because they thought I was part of the coexist crowd, only to now be protested by the coexist crowd because they think I’m part of the truck nuts brigade.

There is a point where focusing on the supposed good in the face of the bad crosses into just endorsing the bad. Like someone telling a woman being beaten by her boyfriend, ‘You need to overlook his flaws because at least he buys you flowers on Valentine’s.’

Can you imagine if the Biden administration allowed the Justice Department to do this in small town Ohio in the name of finding a January 6 participant?

Whenever you hear someone sneer about scientific research that seems useless to them — “they’re studying the spit of lizards?!” — remind them that’s exactly how we got Ozempic.

The estimated money embezzled by Christian clergy every year.

Be careful pointing out specks in your government agency’s eye, fellow Christians.

Don’t claim you want the government to be more ‘pro-life’ and simultaneously condone this action.
