Angry white people are hammers in search of nails…and Trump delivered a dump-truck of nails for them. When you repeat the same lies about marginalized groups, government ‘fraud’ and inflated illegal immigrant issues the messages become reality. Having buy-in from right-wing news validates it.

I think a majority of Rep voters thought that ‘oh, it’s just campaign speak meant to get votes’… then they’re shocked that the gov’t now resembles the marriage of reality tv + the apprentice. If you thought they were kidding, but voted for them anyway…you voted for cheats and liars!
