my least favorite mobile game ad trope is when the ad wants you to interact with it in some way, so they have a little hand with it's finger outstretched pointing to the thing they want you to tap on. idk why but that always pisses me off! don't tell me what to do!!

i've eaten Campbell's cream of chicken soup as a soup (as opposed to a casserole ingredient) once before, and it's genuinely not good that way at all imo haha.

ur so right. and if i'm being real, i've always found Adam to be a bit biased toward his own methods of creation (live performance) versus other methods haha. not that i begrudge him that, i actually respect the hell out of him as a musician and writer.

of course, i suppose it doesn't really matter. i mostly make music for people who meet me in good faith and trust that i'm doing something creative and human with my own brain and intent and all that. it just sucks to think that people might not be able to trust their ears in the future.

i 100% agree. the way i interpreted his final point in his video was that, regardless of whether or not AI was used in the final product, it's always going to be a question in the listeners mind as to if it was. it degrades the spirit of recorded music, even if that recorded music doesnt use AI.

it felt doomer-y in a way that i cant even necessarily suggest is totally incorrect. i think it mainly *felt* like musicians in my lane were being tossed out with the bathwater. i suppose i can assure you that none of my music is made using any sort of generative AI. but is that enough?

if it helps at all, i'm fairly sure almost every normal person is entirely over all of the bullshit pretense. the only people still trying to lie about all of *this* are truly in bed with fascism. i hope you're doing alright <3
