the zinnias were the top performers as far as attracting the most wildlife to the garden. hummingbirds loved them too

half of the sunflowers that grew were planted by the squirrels but the red and yellow ones i struggled immensely to bring into this world (90% of the seedlings god munched)

speaking of spite i stuck my amaryllis bulb outside to die and it ended up blooming for the first time in its life instead. typical.

i planted my corn correctly this year (dense as hell) and ended up with cobs fit for humans. also the tomatoes performed well despite me fucking absolutely everything up with my seedlings (the best performing plants were volunteers that grew against my will from last year. out of spite, presumably)

i got respectable amounts of strawberries :3 i made a few tiny bowls of strawberry jam from them.

the peach tree bloomed wonderfully and eventually gave us teeny-tiny peaches that nearly broke her branches. i didn't pick all of them in time and the bees discovered them and started eating them, which is apparently a thing bees can do.
