My friend's daughters both just lost their federal jobs, another friend's new role at work is finding and deleting the word 'gender' regardless of context, and I'm a gay woman who used to be a crucial and respected professional but now I'm just a DEI hire. Thanks mom.

I joined my local Unitarian Universalist congregation today after being a regular visitor for the last 2 years. They're one of the only places I have been feeling safe in my red county and I'm grateful to have made friendships there because I really need them now.

I ordered an electric guitar whilst unable to sleep one night last week. It can sit next to the acoustic I also do not know how to play.

Protip: If you're a feminist who has been in a lesbian relationship for 20 years and your mother and MIL both voted for Trump because apparently the majority of white women are white before they are women, go to Thanksgiving at the Indian buffet. I ate at 1 and didn't need to eat again until today.
