Also, even though it would seem obvious because of snow and ice n' such, but Ice Age does not feel like a winter-time movie. It's more of a squeeze in the middle of a packed summer season type of series.

Keep in mind, Universal still makes a shit ton of money from these movies, so financially speaking, it is sounds, but none of these sequels measure up.

I do actually like The Lost World quite a bit though.

And Jurassic Park 3 actually is the closest they have come to recapturing the magic.
