every game tile was actually the corners of 4 different environment tiles, and could have 4 different textures apiece so i had a lot of permutations to draw essentially

this was my tile editor sprite sheet. In retrospect, I think I went about this a very wrong way but there is a kind of beautiful clunkiness to it.
