I've finished testing the Advanced UV boards, they're all good to go! For the uninitiated, this board can be used to make, like, 95% of the SNES library and many ROM hacks.

Unfortunately I had to increase the price to $6 per board to make up for the tariffs.

Well, after about 2 hours of trying to figure out what was wrong with the board I think it was just a bent pin on the EPROM lol

Exhirom mode is working!

Well, I was gonna name the beer I brewed at the start of the shutdown something clever with the word "furlough" but maybe it instead should be something to do with the word "spineless"

Truly a soldering practice board tbh
New version of the SNES Advanced UV carts should be Fully tested soon

Tell me about it!

The update was to add access points to various pins on the TSOP chips for programming in-circuit, so you don't have to desolder to reprogram.

To that end, I made this programming adapter for the T48. For now, it's purely theoretical, I still have to order them.

I just updated this board I made a while back. It's a drop-in replacement board for the 27C160 and 27C322 UV EPROMs that a lot of retro repro carts use. It uses brand new 5V NOR Flash chips (29F160).

The repository also has much more information than it used to.

Ah shit here we go again

I enjoy making my designs look a lot like the originals!

I spent so much time making my Game Boy Pocket Color design look like the original.

Forgot to mention!

The board fits in the SNES shells for the expanded 62-pin connectors AND standard SNES game shells. The internal structure of these 2 shells varies; this board fits in both.

You will have to cut some holes for those extra pins in standard shells, but that's a relatively easy mod

Merry Christmas everyone! (OCT31 = DEC25, you know)
To celebrate the occasion - I'm releasing v1.0 (and hopefully only version) of my SNES SA-1 boards! The SA-1 is a co-processor that's used in a variety of graphically intense SNES games.

This is fully open source!

Doesn't look like it. Here's the mappers that are supported.

(Discrete mapper board = uses discrete commercially available logic chips)

Ok, I lied. The new NES boards are up for sale on Etsy. :D

For those who didn't see my first skeet, these are an updated version of my existing discrete mapper NES cartridge boards. Full info can be found here: github.com/MouseBiteLab...

This board is pretty similar to my existing NES Discrete board, but I cleaned up the design, ported it to Kicad, and open sourced it. I *also* added compatibility for a bunch of new mapper types, including the Panesian CNROM games (porn! on the NES!) and Color Dreams games (religion! on the NES!)

OK! The new version of my NES discrete logic mapper PCBs are uploaded onto GitHub. They are not yet available on Etsy, but I do have the files uploaded to PCBway for ordering.

Wow the tariffs really have helped my small business
October 22, 2025 at 6:47 PM
Wahoo! Seller accidentally sent me first edition version of a card. Probably because the symbol is so hard to see.

This pisses me the FUCK off

I called our unelected senator about what he plans to do to help small businesses like mine that have been destroyed by tariffs he supports.

I specified I wanted an answer to my question, not a boilerplate reply.

Well, who could've guessed. I got a boilerplate reply.

Being the president, Trump might not be able to be shamed or scared

But Tom Homan, Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, and Stephen Miller might be

Make sure you are giving them the credit they deserve for the atrocities
