Trying to understand and make sense of the world I find myself in.
I’m not arguing about what fault and blame the CEO deserves for the injustice of our system. You seem to think that going outside the law to assassinate someone in cold blood should be cheered. I disagree.

My original point is that taking out a mass shooter is not the same as this assassination of the healthcare CEO, and that the assassination should not be cheered. I stand by that. I’m not arguing about the morality of the CEO or what his culpability is for the injustices of our healthcare system.

If someone took out a mass shooter, actively defending themselves and others in the process, that can be cheered. The problem with healthcare is the entire system, not the person who happens to be at the head of a healthcare corporation at a given time. Cold blooded assassinations are not the way.

Look, I understand your emotions are making you feel they are the same. But reason and critical thinking will reveal the differences. I encourage you to try and find them.

We are not in a civil war. And hopefully it will remain that way.
December 11, 2024 at 2:16 PM
It is no where near the same thing. You are ignoring a lot of nuance in your statement.

During civil war…

Nor does it matter at all if the media corrects with evidence. Trump has learned that his manner of lying (a constant disregard of truth) has almost no consequences and a whole host of benefits. A person who generally has integrity will lie and be destroyed for the aberration. Not the case w/ Trump.

The committee rightfully investigated January 6th and published the findings. That the findings were damning to Trump and others is not a reason for them to be imprisoned. Trump has no moral compass.

Spot on.
December 8, 2024 at 8:34 PM
Hahaha. True.
December 4, 2024 at 4:57 AM
Maybe I’m naive. But it seems like his out in the open hyper partisan views - coupled with his sketchy Twitter activity - would be disqualifying for the Supreme Court.

Do you think Mike Lee could get confirmed? He’s pretty out there. John Curtis, who will replace Romney, is fairly moderate and reasonable. I mean, he’s not a psycho like Lee.
December 4, 2024 at 4:40 AM
Oh shit. Please don’t let Mr. Trump see this post. 🙏
December 4, 2024 at 4:11 AM
I’m glad to find someone who hates those bright lights as much as I do. Why the fuck do those exist?
December 4, 2024 at 4:07 AM
That is hard to understand. I’ve also been surprised that the content of his books has been absent from the conversation. He’s written some absolute bullshit. Guy is whack.
December 4, 2024 at 4:03 AM
I will sign on to this letter.
December 1, 2024 at 5:18 AM
Even though I know Trump’s ethics are nonexistent, each manifestation of that fact is enormously disappointing.
November 30, 2024 at 9:27 PM
Absolutely no on Pete Hegseth.
November 30, 2024 at 3:50 AM
Troll account. Don’t take seriously.
November 29, 2024 at 2:05 PM
Thank you for being a voice of reason and calling Elon out directly. Respect.
November 28, 2024 at 12:33 PM
I’ve had this thought about Trump too. He lies so much that everyone, media included, are completely numb to it and he isn’t held accountable.
November 26, 2024 at 3:08 AM
Wrong. Democracy chose Trump.
