So fortunate to embark into the wilds of Northumbria and photograph rarely-seen, exotic British wildlife.

I've been walking the Hadrian's Wall Path this week and a few days ago I passed by the stump of the Sycamore Gap Tree. There are saplings sprouting up from the roots all around it in a race to become the next big tree.

After 6 months I finally got around to developing the film from my climb up the GBT last fall (you can't take digital cameras because they cause interference). Oh, GBT, I love you so, and even more when the leaves are turning.

My fourth time up to MacAfee Knob but first in the spring. Trees in bloom everywhere. And some inadvisable bouldering at the end!
