This is from the Watch Duty app to track wildfires. This is the entire west coast. So we have FEMA not overly responsive due to staff cuts and the National Guard scaring kids in parks in LA or rounding up non criminal migrants vs being available to help fight wildfires.

My 18 yr old treadmill decided to go kaput while I was on it the other day. A loud “pop” and the screen went blank and it stopped. Ugh.

In the Methow Valley there are three towns that encompass most of the valley population. Our side of WA State is mostly red. This is the town of Twisp where 295 people protested today. For us, that’s a big number. This is the 5th week of protesting. @50501movement.bsky.social

Well the kid has nerve to parade his Trump flag in the middle of a 150 person protest. We’ve been protesting at this exact spot for 3 weeks with our numbers growing each week. We let him do his thing & some took time to talk with him.

While we are out protesting we need our elected officials to do more than release statements. I am heading to Twisp for a noon protest. We are doing this every Saturday…join us.
