Are you referring to the novel by James Barr, based on historical fact where there does seem to be controversy or the novel by Wells Jones and Miles Spencer based on historical fiction. Both novels have the same title?

The novel is a work of fiction and even, at times, fantasy, which was inspired by real events the authors experienced while in the Middle East. The author explains this in the episodes. However, if you have evidence to the contrary, I am open to hearing it.
