Senate Dems operating independently aren’t supporting the party. It’s not unusual for a Senator who is in a precarious position in a R state to get permission. But for god sakes Shaheen and Durbin are retiring and Feterman has NO excuse. He’s just hoping to jump ship.

The House doesn’t have to capitulate just because the Senate did. The pressure will be greater but they can hold the line.

As the saying goes, don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.

Any yes vote is a punt back to the House.
