Have you ever watched political interviews in foreign media? When the BBC interviews politicians and they lie on air, they call it out on the spot. They will fact check and correct each and every lie, mute microphones, and remove people as a last resort to combat intentional misinformation.

Everyone in my personal life who drank the anti-trans cool aid only did so because every trusted source in their media was telling them lies. I blame the media. Our news media's failure to call out lies as such is the problem.
