I’ve done the same. However in my ADHD head I’ve concluded my seatbelt have never been actually used. I’ve only put it on standby and, if needed, system would employ appropriate mechanics to actually use it for its purpose … preventing me from looking uglier than I already am.

Better late than never, as the saying goes.

I’m a big advocate of aircraft manufacturers installing those annoying seat belt chimes that cars have. It should broadcast the row and seat number via the entertainment system to let everyone know that you are ‘that’ guy.
