As great as MH World onwards was, I will never forgive them for nerfing Tigrex's personality. Mounting it in 4U/Generations Ultimate was the best where it would go crazy and drag you so far across the map that you end up in the next zone. 🤣

Rise plays better
The spectacle are great...for the first 2 hours, then it's all down to the gameplay where Rise comes out on top. The weapons are more fun, you can dunk Large Barrel bombs, and it has Khezu. Arcadey fun!

Both are great games, but if you would like my opinion:
World looks better
Rise plays better
The spectacle are great...for the first 2 hours, then it's all down to the gameplay where Rise comes out on top. The weapons are more fun, you can dunk Large Barrel bombs, and it has Khezu. Arcadey fun!

Monster Hunter: Wilds is coming up, though I'm not sure if it will be your type of game.

And then there's a character who can manipulate the card gauge. He can do things like cleanse an area of the card gauge, move ally cards to the front immediately, deal damage based on empty card turns, and even leave attack cards where he does damage even if he's not in the front line!

For example. You attack an enemy, but they're not dead? Tag in a character to finish them off! In addition, the incoming character immediately goes next!
Or if you are attacked, you can tag a character in to take the hit. If they survive, their tag ability instantly gives them the next turn!

FF1 will always hold a special place in my heart. Even after almost 4 decades, I still say it holds up to this day. It's tough when you start, but if you know where the peninsula of power is, you can make the rest of the game a breeze, and I'm glad that peninsula is present in all versions.
