@ericbraedenyr.bsky.social That means that she will be given meds to keep her comfortable, but that's it/ She doesn't have much time left, and what makes it even harder is that once she passes, I'll be the only one left in our family as our parents are gone too.

@ericbraedenyr.bsky.social You may or may not remember that my sister has been fighting cancer for quite some time now. She took a very bad turn for the worse and has now entered comfort care.

@ericbraedenyr.bsky.social As of now, it's stage three. Gallbladder cancer is very rare, so there is no formal protocol on how to treat it Provided her blood counts are high enough, she has her first chemo session tomorrow morning. (continued)
