Really like the example of a camera: Wish I had thought of that at the time! I did mention (to counter his argument that AI is faster and therefore better) there will always be counter movements (think Slow Food Movement). Also, so much CAPITALISM underlying all this…..

Just had a long conversation (ok, argument) with a coder who claimed that students didn’t need to be taught creative writing any long bc we ‘had AI now.’ AI was a tool, just like a calculator, so why couldn’t they use it? And I was just a Luddite for opposing this.
