It feels like the main criticism is less of an argument against hybrid mana and more a lack of faith in wotc. Which is fair but I also don’t really find relevant to hybrid mana since if they’re gonna screw the game up for money I don’t think the existing hybrid mana rule is going to stop them.

I love the idea they would go through such a radical redesign but still keep deckmaster on the back.

Play area and player token aren’t defined in the rules and replacement effects have no way of replacing physical actions so last line has no effect. You would make a doubling season token but it wouldn’t be on the battlefield to see you make the other tokens.

I was looking through scryfall for land sacrifice ideas and came across this. Not really what I was looking for but a wild magic card I’d never seen before and would love to see in action in a commander game (If all the players are down with land destruction shenanigans)

Ooh, lands is a fun angle I’ve never really seen korvold run with before. I love the visual design of korvold but he’s always seemed way to easy to break for crazy value my personal taste. I kind of want to try that.

Also, I really wish the through the omenpaths version of villainous wrath was in paper because the art is sick.

I’d say costing less mana and also not potentially hurting yourself is generally better as you would usually want to have resources to rebuild quickly after it and decently often you will only get minor extra value from hurting the other opponents.
