"Removing misinformation" is just gonna make people that more steadfast in their beliefs. There's no solution as long as people distrust "authorities" (that blend together in their minds). Which will hold true as long as people exist.

People in Cuba all have a home, no matter how destitute they are, although some of the homes may be "sub-standard". You'll see people living in 4x4m metal boxes all the way from San Jose to the coast in Costa Rica. On paper, CR has a far higher GDP per capita than Cuba. How is it meaningful then?
