Yep!! That's why I want to create a proper system. The use of unique IDs for one then modelling the tables properly. That way when they enter data in the future , they'll avoid this sort of mess.
Crazy how people that aren't in data don't appreciate these standard principles.

Some of the policy numbers are also entered wrong, and some are missing so there's been a lot of hunting😂
It's basically just been a lot of unexpected data cleaning. Gave me a harsh look into what real life data looks like.

So their data capturing was not standardised at all. They don't have unique IDs for clients, so there's a lot of errors in the client names. And inconsistent naming from one year to the next, which is frustrating when I'm trying to create a client list with unique IDs
