From The Casa Martyrs: How can we ever triumph at the Blazing Court when something as simple as the truth has become something those in power can make up as they go along?

In case I have any locals on this account 😉

Happy Halloween to all my wonderful Autistic and AuDHD friends (and to all the rest of you too!)

Not quite the big project I had planned to end my pumpkin carving season, but I ran out of time and energy, so went for something simple and not overly original. Still, it's very pretty, and it was interesting staring at this painting all day.

Tonight's pumpkin carving, and this year's raffle prize for the local library. The winner picked a haunted Pittenweem harbour scene.

Tonight's carve! Specially for someone who is very much interested in the clocks of John Smith of Pittenweem. The below carving is actually of a clock face.

Tonight’s pumpkin carving. Had to rush it, but at least it’s finished. Only
4 more to go.

Thank you. Just about to stick a craft knife in my husband's eye... (Redoing the carve I did of his eye last year to save time and hopefully do a better job.)

Today's pumpkin share is a carving I did back in 2022 for my Autistic friends and family 🫂Thank you all for being so supportive and wonderful, even when you're fighting your own battles.

Tonight's pumpkin carving. I spent ages agonizing over the background, and decided I should of left it blank... So 15 mins with a U-gouge, and the gate is gone.

Who needs AI to generate art inspiration when you have plasticine. Finally getting to carve an image I’ve wanted to carve for ages. What could be more scary than Christmas in October 😉

Today's pumpkin share is probably my most locally famous one, and is carved into a pumpkin I grew myself. It shows the village of Pittenweem.

A couple from my C-List of past carves today, an otter and what was supposed to be a wave.

I've counted that I need to carve 8 pumpkins to keep sharing at least 1 daily photo until Halloween, so knuckling down!

Check out my media tab to see all the pumpkins I've previously shared.

One of my favourite past carves for today's pumpkin share. I'm also getting out my plasticine to create some little tableaus for possible carves over the next few days.

I've been sharing carves daily since mid Sept, so if you're late to the party, check out my media tab

Here's a carve from 2022 I don't particularly like, but I'm starting to get worried I won't have enough images to get me to 31st as carving's been a bit thin this year as I'm still too busy to throw everything out of the window and just carve.

I do outline the image. Sometimes I wrap the pumpkin up and draw what I will carve, sometimes I just stick a photo or drawing to it.

A friend let me carve her eye last Halloween... 😉

My first carve from last year. I messed it up right at the end, going too deep above the first O, but I may try the carve again at some point.

Today's pumpkin carving share is one of my most popular carves, and shoes St Monans' Kirk. I like carving cuboid shapes, as by just carving different depths, you can quite easily create a 3D look. And buildings are good cuboid shapes!

If you live near Pittenweem, Pittenweem Library is having a PUMPKIN RAFFLE! The winner gets their very own pumpkin carved by me, with an image of their choice.

Today's pumpkin share is the scene last year's winner chose.
