I can't count the number of times I've seen concept art and gone "wow that's cool as hell, I wish that had made it to the final product" and that's only possible because the concept stage is what allows raw and unfiltered ideas as they narrow down to what feels right

I recommend "of the Devil". Ace Attorney-like in a cyberpunk dystopia where you play as a very fucked up and gay lawyer.
Episodic, but what's there is pretty high quality and the rate they're coming out seems reasonable.

IIRC it's not "real" music, but tracks from the other areas you can play there for funsies.

I really enjoyed Echoes of Wisdom. Cool halfway point between the classic 2D Zeldas and the more freeform Breath of the Wild era
Donkey Kong Country Returns has always been a really solid and fun platformer and the Switch version should be superior to the Wii version now that motion control is gone

I don't mind downloading mons. To me the main issue is that a lot of recent Mythicals don't have interesting lore or framing devices to make them feel special anymore.

I think its enduring popularity is because it speaks to something Real, but that should be seen as looking at overarching trends in media, and not as a hard Pass/Fail-Good/Bad test.
