Thanks to the Double Slit Experiment I have no idea whether photons are a particle, or a wave, but I do know that you never see them check bags at the airport, because they are traveling light...

I did a bit of research into this & it seems that in 1977 Sean Schönke, made his own Vader costume. Remember, this is before the internet. Before 3D printing & buying costume pieces from Etsy.
Everything was hand made & based on memory from seeing the movie in theaters multiple times. Very nice...!
