Fast forward a decade later, I'm far more educated on the psychology of abuse & PDs, & I have some asshole on Twitter telling me I'm "lucky to not understand narcissistic abuse" bc denying its existence means I haven't "lived through something so serious". Like they just assumed that. I saw red!!!

YESSSS. I was pulled into it in 2011-2012, before it became this big trend. It was validating to hear a term that seemed to explain my abuser's behaviour perfectly.
