After last nights cloudy moonrise, it was nice to see the moon lift off above The Bass Rock tonight, with Lamb Island and Fidra joining in the almost full moon party.

During a brief visit to the Isle of Skye on Wednesday, the light was really nice for a few mins over Cleat (1100 feet), which is a neighbour of The Quiraing.

It's normally the other around with a cloudy horizon and clearer sky above, so it's always wonderful to watch the sun slip below the clouds onto the clear horizon.
