Spoonbills are so cool! Congrats!
I was lucky enough to see 3-4 this year! Specifically, they were cool to find because these ones were in Northeast in late summer. They were big news for my local birding groups.
They are cool and awkward goobers.

Cool. Black Skimmers are amazing. I usually see them at least once every summer.

Thank you! They were cool to see. These two were specifically at my nearest NWR.

I do not have any ToT

I do not like people like that.
Also, speaking of Marbled Godwits, I was able to see my first ones at the end of August this year. They are cool.

Why throw rocks at them? (them- I am referring to the Godwits)
November 24, 2025 at 2:19 AM

November 21, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Next, I am shifting my focus to some songbirds and woodpecker now. Here we have a Dark-Eyed Junco, and Eastern Bluebird, and a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker.

Here is my last photo of Ring-Necked Duck. In addition,I have photos of a Hooded Merganser and some Pied-Billed Grebes. The pics of the grebes are poor (one was dark and far, the other had some glare and also at a distance)
November 21, 2025 at 3:14 AM
In addition, I was able to get some pictures of Ring-Necked Ducks. However, the lighting and distance of the Ducks reduces the quality of these photos.

Surprisingly, I was able to get some pictures of a female Wood Duck hanging out with Tundra Swans. The Wood Ducks in my area are usually so skittish. It was pointed out to me that the Wood Duck is missing an eye.

Here are some more Tundra Swans.
