Oh it’s horrible having vestibular issues. I’m still recovering from labyrinthitis in May. Takes ages for your brain to recover. Hope it gets sorted quickly for you!

Oh yes we can’t forget the impact of the Thatcher years. I still remember the Handsworth riots in my city, and lots of unemployment including in my family. Music and tv were an escape for many. Very different times for our kids.

Often find ourselves asking ‘what happened to…’ and then finding out how old they now are or that they have gone. I still feel the same in my head as I did early teens and time passing seems to have been the blink of an eye. But ‘80’s childhoods were so good so we were lucky…

People eating - the chewing, lip smacking, gulping. Loud breathing. High pitched noises (I have tinnitus and anything like it is a trigger). Crunching packets - all crisps/nuts must go in a bowl instead.
