If I knew why the label was on the item, I feel like I could make a more informed decision about the risk(s).

Sometimes the P65 warning on food is because browning (maillard effect) has a (low) risk of cancer. Other times it's because the food has a (high) risk of lead. Really big difference between the two. One I would still buy (items that are browned or toasted) vs would not buy (lead, heavy metals).

I was looking at utensils today and some soup spoons I liked had the warning label. I didn't know if it was because they were made of BPA, BPS, lead, etc.

It was more like a forum with back and forth conversations. Fb has mostly boiled down to react emojis and little actual meaningful discourse.
