It’s Banned Books Week. In 2022 I was shocked when I learned Art Spiegelmen’s MAUS had been banned by a school in Tennessee. It’s an incredibly powerful Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel that follows Art’s Jewish parents in 1940s Poland & their internment in Auschwitz.
I implore all to read it.
