6 hours, but they allowed an early start that could take 8 hours. But you have to take more than 6 in order to use that option. (No starting early just because you want to get done early, I believe they would stop people at a point if they were too fast!)

Also, do the 5K (or 10K) the day before the marathon for extra bling! (Not as big, though)

I'm sure they do! It is what they are known for. Different theme every year. Back half of the course was hilly, but I had a good time there!

Not all the time, but this looked really good! I enjoyed this Nashville Hot Fish sandwich on the Virginia Beach boardwalk while I was there for the VA Beach 10 miler a few weeks ago. #runchat

In 2022, some friends went to Disney World for marathon weekend. Two ran the half, and two ran the full. One of the half runners was spectating and caught me run by! #runchat

I don't have a subscription so I couldn't read if it was mentioned in the article, but look up Aldi Aisle of Shame on Facebook. Trader Joe's doesn't have the random aisle of stuff where you can pick up a cat bed, sneakers and a chainsaw while you do your grocery shopping!

They let me go pretty easily, but it was during the pandemic. I'm pretty sure they did pause charging for a while when they were closed, but when they opened back up I got out!

Hmm, hard one. I was an evening runner for a long time, but prefer to get my runs done in the morning now. I do dislike running in the dark, and won't go out in the dark without a buddy or group. #runchat

It was unusual to see that many in a field like that, but I have seen big groups perched on a radio tower that I also had to run under. So creepy. Not sure where they go in the snow!

I took this in November so I guess they are always here in Maryland!

That's great! Getting myself to the pool is always a struggle, but I do enjoy it once I'm there ... Well after that initial cold jump in!

A2 I DNF'd my one 50 mile attempt. Maybe someday I will attempt the distance again, but as long as I keep doing long distance triathlons I probably won't be able to run enough! #runchat
