when focused on media and ownership one must think regulating Widget production versus thought control - Tabula rasa is critical to shaping the human condition we need a rainbow of sources to portray the complexity of being human and allowing ideas to form in a much more natural means

as it stands - rich nations should get off all fossil- (who historically and still produce most GHG). Growing economies- should be given help to explore alternatives- but reality given current forces- they will build cheapest.

at global level flaring efficiently? methanesat would have proven on many level how much the gas sector leaks- I agree transition fuel aspect is not a direction- " big step" is maybe too optimistic. However- the actually existing is in the field- we are detecting many leaks for sure.

on the permafrost question- it is still unclear how much methane is emitting from such- but definitely could become a much bigger problem than Oil and Gas methane emission. But right now- we need to do what we can to mitigate methane and CO2

definitely-global transition to methane on the belief it will lower GHG. Yet - venting of methane from oil and gas is a huge source of global GHG- installing flaring is a big step forward. I agree though we need non-fossil transition.
