the fact that people are seeing the ban message pop up and going 'oh look it's proof it was in my server!' is bizarre. you've always been able to preemptively ban any ID from a server. misinformation mayhem

it bothers me how rampant discord misinformation is. i feel like i see a new 'discord did [x]' or 'discord had a dataleak' posts every month and they are literally wrong every single time.
