Ironic, given it filmed almost entirely in Canada.

Yes, multiple Earths merged. They had no reason to believe a multiverse exists, until The Flash season 9 episode 9 where Barry learned that Oliver actually created a new multiverse to replace the one that fell.

Warner Bros when they used to make DC movies, didn't do that with them. The same for now, DC Studios doesn't do remakes.
September 4, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Yeah, DC doesn't do that.

Indeed, leaving only one Earth at the end. Not always tho, the Arrowverse created a new multiverse in the end.

No sorry, just meant that two separate adaptations can adapt similar things without one being a remake of the other. The two Batman are live-action.
September 4, 2025 at 4:27 PM
It is yeah. Just confirmed two dead universes to be the same one.
September 4, 2025 at 4:23 PM
The answer would be no. It's only a sequel to "Superman" (2025), and a adaptation. It may have similarities but no more than say "Batman" (1966) had with "Batman" (1989).
September 4, 2025 at 4:23 PM
I'm confused by your original question then. Could you rephrase please?
September 4, 2025 at 4:18 PM
It's called Tomorrowverse because the DC Animated Movie Universe was believed to have ended, and that "Superman: Man of Tomorrow" (2020) is the kickoff of that new universe. So, Tomorrowverse named after it.

It wasn't till later, that it was confirmed they are both the same universe.
September 4, 2025 at 4:18 PM
This film is part of a universe of films based on DC Comics, called the Tomorrowverse/DC Animated Movie Universe.

The DC Comics universe is not the same universe as this one, nor is the new DC Universe.
September 4, 2025 at 4:13 PM
No, that film is in the Tomorrowerse and isn't in any way related to the DCU.

As well as black holes, buildings falling, and a silver female comic book character. Interesting shift. Also a strong focus on protecting life, that it's not even trying to be subtle on protecting all life.
