Coke and Pepsi are ramping up their lobbying, my old paper the WSJ reports, using the tobacco argument that they’re just providing “choice.” But given how hard those companies work to get in our heads when we’re kids (see chapter 5 in Salt Sugar Fat) is free will really a thing?
