DUGONGS AND MANATEES ARE NOT THE SAME! They are cousins on the evolutionary line but they ARE different species! The main difference is their tails. One is a FLUKE but the other is PADDLE SHAPED. Not to mention Manatees can be found in salt and fresh water while dugongs are salt water
