That is a very simplistic understanding of economic development. Silicon valley is a creature of government and military research and development.

So everyone is just supposed to roll over for the Americans who have promised us 90 percent of a plane and a plan to make us the 51st state. There’s a great deal of Canadian geography for which the Grypen is more suited.

If that were the case we wouldn’t have Chinese made iPhones, or the great Japanese brands, or Korean brands.

Implementing the Leahy report to manage /reduce clear cutting would help, and fewer golf courses. The moss we see in our forests, of which we have an abundance, holds an enormous amount of water, but they could have done that years ago.
